The stems may form cracks and break over time causing the rider to lose control and fall, posing a risk of injury. As of April 21, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 2 reports of incidents and no reports of injuries.

Consumers should immediately stop using bicycles with this stem and bring the bicycle to an authorized retailer to determine if the stem is subject to this recall. Recalled stems will be replaced free of charge.
