Wild Country Superlight Rocks recalled due to Fall Hazard

When single cable Superlight Rocks are exposed to maritime seaside conditions with high concentrations of salt, corrosion inside of the ferrule can occur and can significantly reduce the breaking strength of the chocks, posing a fall hazard. As of June 18, 2023 , the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or the United States.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to any authorized Wild Country dealer or to Wild Country directly for a replacement product. For more information, consumers can contact Wild Country by telephone toll-free at 1-844-412-7013 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. MT Monday through Friday, by email or visit the company’s website . Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Salewa USA, LLC. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind Canadians to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
