Instantbond Activator recalled due to improper labelling

Issue
The recalled products do not meet the labelling requirements of the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. The lack of appropriate hazard labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the product and lead to serious illness, injury or death. As of July 5, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Instantbond Activator and dispose of the products according to local municipal hazardous waste requirements. For more information, consumers can contact Inoteca by telephone at 905-856-3074 from 9 am to 5 pm E.T. , Monday to Friday, or visit the company website recall.inoteca.ca . Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
