Yes To brand cleanser, facial scrub and deep cleansing scrub recalled due to presence of plastic microbeads

The recalled products contain plastic microbeads as defined in the List of Toxic Substances in Schedule 1 to the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA). Plastic microbeads are considered toxic to the environment under CEPA. As of August 2, 2023 the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Chemical hazard

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and return them to the store they bought the product from to ensure proper disposal. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
