Ubio Labs 10,000mAh Portable Chargers recalled due to potential fire hazard

The lithium-ion battery inside the portable charger has the potential to overheat and burn, posing a potential fire hazard. As of June 14, 2023 the company has received 11 reports of batteries catching fire or exploding in Canada, which includes 8 reports of property damage and 1 injury.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled power bank and return to a Costco warehouse for a full refund. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
