The glass knobs can break during installation or during normal use, posing a laceration hazard. As of August 28, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 5 reports of incidents of the glass knobs breaking and 4 reports of laceration injuries.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled glass knobs and Prime-Line Products, LLC to receive a merchant gift card. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Prime Line Products, LLC. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
