Expanded Alert: Health Canada warns that Rojada Child Safety Seats may pose a risk of injury

Health Canada has determined that the use of these restraints in a motor vehicle could increase the risk of injury in the event of a collision. These products do not display Transport Canada's National Safety Mark and therefore have not been certified to meet the safety requirements of the Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seats Safety Regulations . The use of these restraints in a motor vehicle would be considered illegal under provincial and territorial highway regulations.

What to do
Consumers who have the affected products should immediately stop using them and safely dispose of them in such a way that they cannot be used again . Regularly check the Healthy Canadians Recalls and Safety Alerts database for dangerous products and take action to remove items of concern. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of these products or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
