Metaflux 70-81 Titanium Spray in aerosol recalled due to excessively high flammability

Health Canada's sampling and assessment program has determined that this product does not meet the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 (CCCR, 2001) in Canada. Specifically, testing showed that the product was "very flammable". The manufacture, import, advertisement or sale of a highly flammable product is prohibited under the CCCR, 2001. The highly flammable nature of the product could result in unintentional exposure to the product and lead to serious illness, injury or death. As of September 13, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Ameta Solution for a refund. For more information, consumers can contact Ameta Solution by phone at (450) 477-3102 or (888) 452-6382, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (EST) or visit the company's website . Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
