The fuel filler cap may not seal properly, resulting in fuel and/or fuel vapor leaking, posing a fire hazard. As of September 21, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Honda EU7000is Portable Generators and contact an authorized Honda Power Equipment dealer to schedule an appointment for a free repair. Honda is contacting all known purchasers directly. For more information, consumers can contact Honda Canada Customer Relations at 1-888-9HONDA9 (1-888-946-6329) from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, or visit the company website and click on “Recalls and Updates” at the bottom of the page for more information. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
