Health Canada warns that the Convertible House Bed Frames and Montessori Floor Beds by Zipadee Kids may pose a risk of entrapment and strangulation for children

Health Canada has been made aware that the spindles used on the recalled beds are spaced at a distance that creates a serious entrapment hazard that can lead to strangulation and/or death to children. The design of the bed allows a child’s torso to slip through the rail opening but will not allow their head to pass, posing entrapment and strangulation hazards that could result in death.

Consumers who have these affected products should immediately stop using them and safely dispose of the items in such a way that they cannot be used again . Regularly check the Healthy Canadians Recalls and Safety Alerts database for dangerous products and take action to remove items of concern. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of these products or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
