Bobcat ZS4000 and Kubota Stand-on Zero Turn Lawnmowers recalled due to Injury Hazard

Issue
The dampers installed on the steering system of the mower may prevent the control levers from returning to the neutral position and the Operator Presence switch will not activate and stop the engine and blades which could cause a crash or laceration hazard to the operator or bystanders. As of October 25, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received no reports of incidents and no reports of injuries.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled stand-on lawnmower and bring to a Bobcat or Kubota dealer for inspection and repair. For more information, consumers can contact Bobcat Customer Service by telephone at 1-800-743-4340 from 7:30am to 4:30pm CT Monday through Friday, or visit the company website and click on “Recalls” at the bottom of the page (for Bobcat vehicles). Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Bobcat. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
