DR Pro Tow-Behind Field and Brush Mowers recalled due to fire hazard

The exhaust pipe can break and cause damage to the unit due to excessive heat, especially in the presence of dry cuttings or spilled fuel, posing fire and burn hazards. As of October 27, 2023, the company has received no reports of injuries or incidents in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 14 reports of fires potentially associated with the issue and no reports of injuries.

Fire hazard

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mowers and contact DR Power Equipment for a prorated refund or credit in the amount of the prorated refund toward a new DR Power product. The prorated refund or credit will be determined based on the age of the unit. DR Power will be contacting all known consumers directly.
