AKMI Kids Crop Top Plaid Long Sleeve Hoodie recalled due to strangulation hazard

Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that this children’s upper outerwear product has a drawstring that can become caught on playground equipment, fences, or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged. As of October 27, 2023, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and remove the drawstring or return the product for a refund.
