The pom pom is not securely attached to the hats and may fall off or be removed through repeated washing, posing a choking hazard. As of December 4, 2023, the company has not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Baby Christmas Hat with Pom Pom (0-6 months), remove the pom pom, discard the hat in regular household garbage and mail the pom pom to Abond Group Inc. as proof of destruction to obtain a full refund. For more information, consumers can contact Abond Group Inc. by telephone at 514-353-9060, ext: 285 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST, Monday to Friday or by email at quality@abondgroup.com . Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
