Wear and tear of the power cable may pose thermal burn and shock hazards to consumers. As of January 3, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. Globally the company received 17 reports where the power cable may have been damaged or broken with use, some of which included reports of thermal burns and electric shock by consumers.
