Steamist Tilt-Up Bath & Shower Seat recalled due to potential fall and laceration hazard

Issue
The wall mounting bracket and seat rods supporting the shower seat can erode and break, posing a potential fall and laceration hazard. As of December 22, 2023, the company has received three reports of failures in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 62 reports of failures with three reports of back scrapes and one report of a back injury.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Steamist, Inc. to register for a refund.
