MSR Camping Cooking Pots by Cascade Designs recalled due to burn and scald hazards

The pot handle can detach or become loose posing burn or scald risk to consumers from hot food and liquids spilling from the product. As of February 21, 2024, the company has received one report of a burn in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 21 reports of the handle disengaging after heating liquids to high temperature and liquid falling onto the person, resulting in burns. The company has not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Mexico.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled camping cooking pot and contact Cascade Designs for a free replacement pot handle/lifter. The replacement pot handle/lifter does not require tools to install.
