ADS brand USB wall chargers recalled due to electric shock and fire hazard

Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that the affected products pose an unreasonable risk of electric shock and fire. As of February 29, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and dispose of them in accordance with municipal electronic waste requirements or return them to the place of purchase for a refund. For more information, consumers can contact Entreprises A.D.S. Inc. by telephone at 450-435-4161, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (EST). Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
