There has been 11 reported field failure incidents of power loss of main AC/DC power supply of Hugo Ras Surgeon Console. The power supply failure could lead to the permanent loss of ability to teleoperate the system from the surgeon console before or during the surgical procedure. During this failure, the tower and arm cart assembly remain operable, enabling the manual manipulation of the arms and/or the removal of the instruments and endoscope, if needed.
