Atomi Smart Heaters recalled due to fire hazard

In the event of a power interruption, including unplugging the unit, the heater may unexpectedly turn on automatically when power is restored or plugged back in, causing the unit to operate unattended, creating a risk of fire. As of May 23, 2024, the company has received no reports of fire in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 1 report of the product self-operating and no reports of injuries.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled heater, visit www.atomiheaterrecall.com to register for a refund and dispose of the product in accordance with municipal electronic waste requirements.
