Cardinal Health began distributing Monoject™ syringes branded as "Cardinal Health Monoject™ syringes" however, the new syringes have different dimensions than prior Covidien Monoject™ syringes. The dimensional changes made to the Cardinal Health Monoject™ syringes, when used with syringe pumps, may result in recognition, compatibility, and pump performance issues, such as overdose, underdose, delay in therapy, delay in occlusion alarms, and delay in feeding. The Perfusor® space syringe pump IFU's identify Monoject™ syringes as an option for use with the pumps. Recall start date: June 4, 2024
