Issue
The EC8 connector between the Yeti Link and various cable can be damaged. A damaged connection can result in melting or burning cables and can create a burn or fire hazard. As of June 12, 2024, the company has received 1 report of incident involving property damage in Canada, and no report of injury. In the United States, the company has received 2 reports of incidents of fire resulting in significant property damage and no reports of injury.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Goal Zero LLC for replacement kit. Consumers should dispose of the affected products in accordance with municipal electronic waste requirements. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Goal Zero LLC. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
