MGA's Miniverse "Make It Mini" products with unused liquid resins recalled due to potential skin, eye and respiratory irritation and sensitization

The products contain resins that, when uncured, can potentially cause skin, eye, and respiratory irritation or sensitization when inhaled, touched, or ingested by children or adults. After the resins cure, they no longer present this potential hazard. As of June 21, 2024, MGA is aware of 1 report of skin allergy in Canada . In the United States, the company has received 26 reports including 7 reports of skin irritation and one report of asthma.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled MGA’s Miniverse "Make It Mini" products with unused liquid resin and contact the Company for instructions on how to return the recalled products for a replacement or refund. For more information, consumers can call MGA Entertainment at 1-800-222-4685, from 9 AM to 8 PM ET, Monday through Friday, or from 9 AM – 2 PM ET, Saturday, or visit mgae.com/contact (select the Miniverse Recall Option) for further instructions on how to obtain your replacement or refund of equal value. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and MGA Entertainment, INC. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
