Philips Respironics has become aware of a potential safety issue with all BIPAP A40 Pro ventilators. The ventilator may incorrectly generate a "high internal oxygen" alarm. To date, there have been no instances of patient harm or injury reported to Philip Respironics caused by this potential issue. Recall start date: July 16, 2024
