Customers have observed an issue where the metal part of the sample holder detaches from the plastic holder base when the robot arm grips a sample tube. If this occurs at a centrifuge, the metal part can inadvertently enter the centrifuge along with the sample tube. The centrifuge is unable to detect the presence of the detached metal part and begins to rotate. This can pose risks to both the equipment and the samples being processed.
