The Unscented Company Laundry Whitener/Brightener recalled due to improper labelling and lack of child-resistant packaging

The recalled product does not meet the labelling requirements and the child-resistant packaging requirements of the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act . The lack of appropriate labelling and child-resistant packaging could result in unintended exposure to the products and lead to serious illness or injury. As of August 5, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact The Unscented Company’s customer service. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
