DeWALT Battery Electric Walk Behind Lawn Mowers recalled due to risk of injury

If water gets into the mower’s handle support while the battery is installed, the mower can fail to shut off when the bail handle is released or start without a key, posing a laceration hazard to the user. As of August 8, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 11 reports of incidents, one of which involved a minor laceration injury.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and bring the products to an authorized service center where the mowers will be repaired.
