BD has received multiple reports that guidewire code 5583705, which is intended for use with the Bard 14.5 Fr Long-Term Dual Lumen Hemodialysis Catheters, may have been misassembled within the hoop such that the proximal (stiff) end of the guidewire is located at the distal end of the hoop. When loaded correctly the distal (flexible) end of the guidewire should be located at the distal end of the guidewire hoop. Recall Start Date: August 1, 2024
