Gasaciods Children’s Multi-Purpose Helmets recalled due to risk of head injury

Issue
The recalled helmets do not comply with positional stability, dynamic strength of retention system, impact attenuation and certification requirements and are in violation of the CPSC federal safety regulation for bicycle helmets. The helmets can fail to protect in the event of a crash, posing a risk of head injury. As of August 8, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled helmets, safely dispose of it and contact Fengwang Sports for a refund. To receive a refund, consumers must cut off the helmet straps and take pictures as proof destruction. Send the pictures to Fengwang Sports by email at george66305@163.com . For more information, consumers can contact Fengwang Sports by referring to the “Support Center” page on Temu’s official website (See the link: https://www.temu.com/support-center.html ). The 24-hour consumer support services are available in both English and French. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
