Guncer Ceramic Gun Oil, Gunex Special Gun Oil, and Universal Oil recalled due to improper labelling

The recalled products do not have the proper consumer chemical labelling as required by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 , under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act . The lack of appropriate labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the products and lead to serious illness or injury. As of August 28, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Labelling and packaging

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Ballistol products and contact North Sylva Sports to obtain a replacement label.
