The recalled product has a flame projection of greater than 100 cm and is therefore classified as "very flammable". The product is prohibited from manufacture, import, advertisement or sale by the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act . The highly flammable nature of the product, if used incorrectly, could result in serious injury or death. As of September 4, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
