John Deere Compact Utility Tractors recalled due to possible injury hazard

Issue
The front bellcrank in the brake linkage could crack and fail, thereby causing a possible crash hazard and injury hazard to the user and others who are around the products when in use. As of September 24, 2024, the company has received two reports of incidents in Canada resulting in minor injuries. In the United States, the company has received four reports of incidents resulting in one minor injury.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled compact utility tractors and contact John Deere for free repair . For more information, consumers can contact Deere & Company by telephone at 1-(800)-537-8233, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (ET) and on Saturdays, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., or visit the company website . Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Deere & Company. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
