TRUBLUE iQ and iQ+ Auto Belay Devices recalled due to fall hazard

Head Rush Technologies has discovered a component on a limited number of auto belay devices that, if mounted below specific heights, could cause impaired retraction and pose a fall and injury hazard for the climber. As of October 7, 2024, the company has received 1 report of impaired retraction in Canada, and no report of injury.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Head Rush Technologies for a free inspection and repair.
