Wolf Dual Fuel range with infrared griddle recalled due to burn and fire hazards

Issue
A spill of liquids (such as a boil over) can cause a short-circuit in a plug of an electronic component which controls the griddle. The griddle can turn on unexpectedly, posing a burn or fire hazard to consumers. As of October 22, 2024, the company has received 3 reports of griddles turning on in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 33 reports of griddles turning on and no reports of injuries.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Wolf Dual Fuel Range and contact Wolf Appliance to schedule a free repair in their home. For more information, consumers can contact Wolf Appliance by telephone at 1-800-200-7820 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CT Monday through Friday , by email at support@wolfappliance.com or online at www.wolfappliance.com/recall or www.subzero-wolf.com and click on “Important Recall Information” at the bottom of the website for more information. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Wolf Appliance, Inc. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
