GoveeLife and Govee Smart Electric Space Heaters recalled due to fire hazard

The products can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards. As of October 28, 2024, the company has received 7 reports of overheating in Canada, and no report of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 106 reports of overheating and one report of a minor burn injury.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled heaters and register for a refund at https://recall.goveelife.com/heater-recall. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC), and Govee Moments Trading Limited. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
