Uwell V6 Refillable Disposable Pod System recalled due to lack of child-resistant packaging

Issue
The recalled products do not meet the child-resistant container requirements for vaping products required by the Vaping Products Labelling and Packaging Regulations under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. Vaping substances containing nicotine present a poisoning risk if they are ingested. Inappropriate packaging and labelling can lead to unintentional exposure to the product and cause serious illness or injuries, including death. As of November 5, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries.

Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
