SunFed Produce, LLC recalls whole fresh American cucumbers due to Salmonella

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is advising consumers of the recall of Sun F ed brand whole fresh American cucumbers due to potential Salmonella contamination. SunFed Produce, LLC’s press release indicates that the implicated products were shipped to Canada . The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the issuance of a Food Recall Warning, when required, for these products in Canada. When a food is recalled, the CFIA will notify the public by posting recall information on the Recalls and safety alerts website and issuing a Food Recall Warning when required. Whole Fresh American Cucumbers packaged in bulk cardboard containers labeled with the “SunFed” label or in a white box or black plastic crate with a sticker that provides the implicated grower’s name, “Agrotato, S.A. de C.V.”
