The replacement battery can overheat, posing a risk of fire and burns. As of January 8, 2025, the company has received 6 reports of fire including reports of property damage in Canada, and no reports of injury.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled battery and safely dispose of them according to municipal guidelines. Batteries are considered hazardous waste.
