The hair accessories of the Bertha Butterfly Dolls contain sharp edges which pose a laceration hazard. As of February 19, 2025, the company has received one report of a laceration injury in Canada.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Bertha Butterfly Doll accessories and dispose of the accessories in regular household waste. For more information, consumers can contact Great Canadian Dollar Store by email at customer.service@greatcanadiandollarstore.ca Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. AST or visit the company website. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
