TRUBLUE iQ and iQ+ Auto Belay Devices recalled due to fall hazard

Head Rush Technologies has discovered that a limited number of the auto belay devices may have been assembled with a component that can cause impaired retraction and pose a fall and injury hazard for climbers. As of March 3, 2025, the company has received 4 reports of retraction issues and no reports of injuries in Canada.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Head Rush Technologies for a free inspection and repair.
