Petzl SWAN EASYFIT Harnesses recalled due to fall hazard

The harnesses concerned by this recall use FAST LT buckles, positioned on the back, to close the harness. The risk can occur when one or both of the FAST LT buckles break and the harness no longer closes, which places the user at risk of exiting the harness completely, falling from height and sustaining serious injury or death. As of April 2nd 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada .

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Petzl SWAN EASYFIT harnesses and contact the company to have the product replaced.
