The North Face Women’s Shellista V Mid Waterproof Boots recalled due to potential fall hazard

It is possible that the hook of one boot can catch on the lace of the other boot, posing a potential fall hazard. As of April 15, 2025, the company has received six reports of the top hook catching on the lace of the other boot in Canada, four of which involved minor injuries. In the United States, the company has received twenty-eight reports of the top hook catching on the lace of the other boot and fifteen of which involved minor injuries. The company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Mexico.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact The North Face to make arrangements to return them for a refund. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC), Mexico’s Consumer Protection Federal Agency (PROFECO), and VF Outdoor Canada, Co. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
