DeckWise® Deck & Wood Cleaner recalled due to improper labelling and lack of child-resistant packaging

The recalled product does not meet the labelling and child-resistant packaging requirements of the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. The lack of appropriate hazard labelling and child-resistant packaging could result in unintentional exposure to the product and lead to serious illness, injury or death. As of May 30 th 2025, the company has received 1 report of incident in Canada, and no reports of injuries.

Labelling and packaging

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled DeckWise® Deck & Wood Cleaner product and dispose of it according to municipal hazardous waste guidelines. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
