Bugaboo Giraffe High Chair recalled due to fall hazard

Bugaboo has determined that when an infant is seated in the baby seat on the High Chair, the legs of the chair can detach from the frame if the screws connecting the legs are not properly tightened by the consumer during assembly, posing a fall hazard. As of April 18, 2025, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 16 reports of the chair legs detaching and 9 reports of minor injuries.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled high chair and contact Bugaboo to receive a free repair kit. Bugaboo is contacting all known purchasers directly.
