Hamilton Medical AG received information from the supplier of the ESM-board which is installed in the Hamilton-C6, indicating that certain ESM-board may contain a mechanically damaged ceramic capacitor. Since only certain serial numbers (from 13636 till 13950 and from 13966 till 14753) of the Hamilton-C6 are affected with the defective ESM-board, this FSN is limited to these devices defined above. Damage to the capacitor could, over time, lead to a loss of its function due to oxidation or similar degradation processes. The worst-case scenario is a local short circuit of the aforementioned capacitor, with different outcomes depending on the device state. Recall start date: June 2, 2025
