Bell Cadence Youth Helmets recalled due to injury hazard

Issue
The helmet may fail to protect the person during a fall or crash, posing a risk of head injury. As of June 24, 2025 the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada and in the United States.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled helmets and contact Bell Sports for a refund. To receive a refund, consumers should (1) destroy the helmet by cutting off the straps, upload photos of the helmet with the straps cut to consumersupport-bell@bellhelmets.com to prove destruction, and dispose of the recalled helmet; or (2) contact Bell at (800) 456-2355, between 8:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. CT, Monday through Friday, or (3) Go to www.thebellgarage.com and click on the recall banner at the top of the home page for more information. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and Bell Sports, Inc. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
