Yardworks and Worx Electric Corded Chainsaws and Pole Saws recalled due to laceration hazard

The main switch on the recalled chainsaws and pole saws can fail and allow the saws to continue to run even after the switch is released, posing a laceration hazard. As of June 30, 2025 the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or in the United States.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Positec Canada, Ltd. for product replacement directions.
