Abbott is initiating a voluntary recall of the AC power cord for the HeartMate™ Mobile Power Unit (MPU; model 107754). Abbott has received one customer complaint in which some MPU AC power cords did not fully lock into place when inserted into the MPU and could be pulled from the MPU without pressing the yellow button on the plug. Recall start date: June 25, 2025
