American Crafts Resin Starter Kit recalled due to chemical hazard

The product does not meet the labelling requirements of the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. The lack of appropriate labelling information could result in unintended exposure to the resin and lead to serious illness or injury. As of July 4, 2025, the company has not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Chemical hazard

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and dispose of the item in accordance with local hazardous waste guidelines. For further information, consumers may directly contact the retailer/importer from whom they purchased the recalled product. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
