Drinkmate 1L Carbonation Bottles recalled due to laceration and injury hazards

Issue
The Drinkmate 1L Carbonation Bottles can explode during use, posing serious impact that can lead to laceration and injury hazards to users and bystanders. As of August 1, 2025, the company has received one report of a bottle shattered during use, causing some bruises and property damage in Canada, and eight similar reports of injuries and property damage in the United States.

What to do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and dispose of them in accordance with local waste requirements. Consumers may also complete the RECALL FORM to request replacement bottles. Joint recall with Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (US CPSC) and i-Drink Products Inc. Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada. Health Canada would like to remind consumers to report any health or safety incidents related to the use of this product or any other consumer product or cosmetic by filling out the Consumer Product Incident Report Form .
